Where is the studio located?Deep Storm Productions recording studio in Scotland is set in a quiet, rural location between East Kilbride and Strathaven in South Lanarkshire. Our central position makes us easily accessible to Glasgow and Edinburgh’s international airports and train stations, both approximately one hour’s drive away. How much do you charge?Prices start from £250 per day, including accommodation; however, for larger projects, please contact us directly to work out a bespoke package costing.
Is accommodation included in the price?One of the benefits of recording at Deep Storm Studios in Scotland, is our comfortable onsite accommodation for up to 6 people; the use of which is also included in the costing. Please see our accommodations page for further information on our facilities.
Do you hire equipment at Deep Storm Productions?Unfortunately, we do not hire out equipment.
Can we post to social media pages while staying at Deep Storm Productions?Providing there are no objections from any staff members, we are happy to allow posting from and tagging of our recording studio.
Can we purchase breakables onsite (sticks, strings etc)Onsite, we have drum keys and a variety of tools to carry out basic maintenance on music equipment. If replacement kit is required during your time at the studio, we recommend Village Music in nearby East Kilbride, which carries a large selection of guitars, and a small collection of vintage percussion.
Can you set up our instruments?We are happy to help with any tuning, setting up drums etc. as required. If you require any repair work, or additional assistance with setting up guitars, we have a Glasgow based contact who should be able to assist you further, if necessary.
